Our Festive Poem Competition is back! Enter our free Festive Poem Competition to win one of three Amazon vouchers up to £200!

Win one of three Amazon vouchers

To be in a chance of winning amazing prizes, students are to submit a poem titled ‘Winter Wonderland’ – aside from the title, students have free creative rein! They can be fun, silly, or Santa-mental.

Poems can be acrostic, rhyming, or non-rhyming and must be no longer than 12 lines.

Competition key dates


Three prizes are available:

  • The school with the most votes will win a £200 Amazon voucher and a certificate.
  • Second place will win a £150 Amazon voucher and a certificate.
  • Third place will win a £100 Amazon voucher and a certificate.

How to win

Poem entries must be submitted here  or using the link below by midnight on the 13th of December, 2023

  • Only one entry per student will be accepted (submissions must include the student’s name, age, and school).
  • Reading Solutions UK will shortlist six poems. 
  • Shortlisted poems will be shared on Reading Solutions UK’s social media channels, and a voting process will take place.
  • The prize winners will be the top three poems that receive the most votes.
  • Each like, comment, or share is worth one vote.

Voting will open on the 18th of December and close at midnight on the 31st of December!
