Lesley Jennings

As a member of the Customer Support Team, Lesley provides free, bespoke, ongoing training and support to our partner schools to ensure they get the most impact out of Reading Plus.

When your school purchases a Reading Plus licence, you gain the support of our Customer Support Team, entering into a partnership with our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to ensuring you get the most out of the programme throughout your contract with us.

They’ll help you implement the programme in your school, provide tailored ongoing support, training, and pedagogic advice – and be on hand during school hours to answer any questions.

 

Briefly describe your job history/life experience.

Customer service-facing role supporting college staff and IT helpdesk administrator at Gateshead College.

I have also worked as an office manager, I have completed a Level 3 teaching course, and I have worked as a Sales Administrator.

What attracted you to the education sector?

I am fully motivated to help and support staff, which in turn helps students grow academically.

Tell us more about your role at Reading Solutions UK.

As a Customer Support Advisor, I provide dedicated and tailored customer support. This includes phone calls at any time, constant training calls and tailored reports.

What do you enjoy most about working in the Customer Support Team?

I enjoy working as part of a close-knit team. My team are quick to help one another no matter what the issue is.

When you are not working, what do you enjoy doing?

Socialising, golfing, walking my pooch – Presley.

What was your favourite childhood book?

What piece of tech can you not live without and why?

My electric golf trolley! The GPS that is connected to it helps me calculate how far each shot is!

If you had a superpower, what would it be and why?

I would like to be psychic; I would like to be able to tell the future, speak to ghosts, read people’s palms and tell them their future.
